Troubleshooting: account changes not saving

If you update your profile or password and it doesn’t stick, these checks usually fix it.

Quick checks

  1. Confirm you’re signed in
    If your session expired, updates will fail.
  2. Check for validation errors
    • Password too short
    • Passwords don’t match
    • Username already taken
  3. Try a refresh
    Sometimes the UI needs a reload after updates.
  4. Try one change at a time
    Save profile changes first, then change password (or vice versa).

If the username is the problem

  • Usernames must be unique. Try a different variation and save again.
