If you update your profile or password and it doesn’t stick, these checks usually fix it.
Quick checks
- Confirm you’re signed in
If your session expired, updates will fail. - Check for validation errors
- Password too short
- Passwords don’t match
- Username already taken
- Try a refresh
Sometimes the UI needs a reload after updates. - Try one change at a time
Save profile changes first, then change password (or vice versa).
If the username is the problem
- Usernames must be unique. Try a different variation and save again.
