A little consistency makes a big difference.
Recommended format
amount + unit + ingredient + optional prep
1 tbsp butter2 cloves garlic, minced250 ml milk1/2 tsp salt
Tips
- Use one ingredient per line.
- Put prep at the end:
carrots, chopped. - Avoid vague amounts when possible:
- Instead of:
a splash of milk - Use:
50 ml milk(or1/4 cup milk)
- Instead of:
Mark optional items clearly
1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
